Calling all sky-watchers! Downtown businesses are gearing up for the solar eclipse on April 8, offering special events to mark the once-in-a-lifetime event. Check out the details below!
Swallow Wines
11 a.m.-2 p.m., $81.19 per person
This exclusive event, limited to just 50 adults, includes two 6-ounce glasses of wine from a selection of five varieties, a grazing table and handmade pizzas, and eclipse viewing glasses. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available.
Urban Rooftop
11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Individual tickets and reserved table prices range from $35-300
Enjoy the best view in the house from the Rooftop eclipse party! Ticket price includes buffet lunch, solar eclipse viewing glasses, tea and sodas. Alcohol will be available for purchase.
The Ruby Hotel
Noon- 2 p.m., no ticket necessary
Enjoy the view from the hotel’s manicured grounds or grab a seat on the creek view patio for the solar event. They’ll have an eclipse-inspired cocktail of the month, classic favorites like the Love me Tender cocktail, free popcorn, eclipse viewing glasses, and commemorative t-shirts for sale.
Centennial and Prete Plazas
Head Downtown early to enjoy lunch at any one our of hometown restaurants before walking to one of the public plazas to enjoy the eclipse. No ticket necessary!
