Channel the luck o’ the Irish and head to Main Street for a pint (or two) on St. Patrick’s Day! Whether you’re celebrating with the kids at dinner or with friends at a pub, there’s something for everyone to enjoy — as long as you’re wearing green.
- Don’t get pinched! Check out Rhae for green accessories and clothing to ring in the holiday. We recommend these earrings, this sweater, or this fun necklace.
- Finley’s Round Rock has a full menu of St. Patty’s Day specials. Start with the shepherd’s pie, wash it down with a pint of guinness, and round it out with Aaron’s apple crumble.
- Round Rock Firefighters Pipes and Drums will be popping up on Main Street starting at 6 p.m. in Prete Main Street Plaza. After the family-friendly show in the Plaza, they’ll head to Alcove Cantina at 7:15 and close out the night at The Brass Tap at 9 p.m.
- Check out Rockey’s Piano Bar and request a classic Irish song. Don’t forget to sing along!
- Head to 3 Star Candy for some lucky mint chip ice cream or pick up a dozen rainbow cake pops at Paige’s Bakehouse.
Give yourself a little extra time to get Downtown as there will be some road closures on Main Street to ensure everyone’s safety. West Main Street from Blair to Mays will be closed in addition to East Main Street from Mays to Sheppard Streets. Mays Street will remain fully accessible and the City Hall parking garage will remain accessible via McNeil Road.
