New library construction underway in the heart of Downtown Round Rock

The new Round Rock Public Library is officially under construction in Downtown Round Rock following a groundbreaking by the City of Round Rock on June 17.

If you love the location of the current library, you won’t have to travel far — the new location at 200 East Liberty Avenue is located just one block north of the City’s existing library.

The design includes a 66,000 square foot, three story building with a 300-space parking garage that will include public parking for the entire downtown area.

With additional space and modernized features, the library will expand its core services with ambitious programming that takes advantage of advanced technology. This will be offered with outdoor garden spaces, flexible conference rooms and training and educational labs.
