Mi Mundo Coffeehouse details roasting process

Have you ever wondered how your favorite coffee is roasted to perfection?

Us too! So, we headed straight to the source at Mi Mundo Coffeehouse and Roastery in Downtown Round Rock. Owner, Sabin “Biny” Shrestha, walked us through the bean roasting process that delivers the cup of jo we all love.

Biny sources beans from all over the world and roasts them in-house to deliver unique flavor profiles that can’t be found anywhere else. It’s a tedious process, but it produces rich coffee that keeps customers coming back for more.

“We call this the heart of the business. If we don’t have this, we can’t do anything else,” Biny said, referencing the behemoth roaster in the back of the shop.
