Downtown businesses host “Up” inspired book drive Sept. 17

Local architects Studio 16:19 and Moman Design are hosting an “Up” inspired book drive to benefit the Round Rock Public Library until 2 p.m, Friday, Sept. 17, at 305 West Liberty Avenue.

The whimsical installation turned the parking spaces into a gathering space inspired by the movie “Up.”

The event is a part of Park(ing) Day which encourages the temporary repurposing of street parking spaces to tiny parks and places for art, play, and activism.

New or gently used books from all genres are accepted.
