Your new favorite hangout has arrived in Downtown Round Rock, serving everything from lattes to libations!
Purely Provisions is located at 212 West Main Street, dishing out breakfast, lunch, dinner, craft coffee, espresso martinis and local brews.
Having purchased the 1930s cream-colored house in 2020, Round Rock residents Cory and Lisa Shaw initially eyed the location as a spot for offices and a café.
They tweaked their plans a few times before settling on creating a cozy place “with a bit of an elevated ambience to it.” The plans to provide coffee and cold brews were joined by a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and cocktails in a breezy, backyard vibe.
“We’ve always loved the city and we wanted to do something downtown,” said Cory Shaw. “There is so much potential here for this to become a happening spot.”
With a modern black exterior on the outside and refreshed cozy vibes on the inside, Purely Provisions joins a growing list of family-friendly hangouts located west of Mays Street.
“We’re hoping we can help bridge this side of Main [to the other side],” said Lisa Shaw.
Nestled into a shady corner behind Living Waters Fly Fishing about a block away from the historic Round Rock water tower, Purely Provisions will make its own cold brew coffee and cocktails such as espresso martinis and margaritas, and serve up breakfast tacos, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wings and more. The focus will be on fresh, clean and local ingredients.
The emphasis on “local” goes beyond the kitchen. The Shaws plan to showcase goods from area makers inside the space, creating even more opportunities to support small businesses. They’re currently curating those offerings and are open to interest from potential partners.
Purely Provisions business hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to midnight Friday and 8 a.m. to midnight each Saturday, with doors closed each Sunday and Monday.
