Grab your napkin and tuck it right underneath that chin of yours cause things are fixin’ to get even more delicious here in Downtown Round Rock!
According to a recent article in Community Impact, a new restaurant called Under the Tower Barbecue is set to open sometime this fall in the historic building that, wouldn’t you know it, sits right smack dab under that famous water tower of ours.
Extra bonus? The owner says that the place plans to host domino tournaments!
If you aren’t familiar with the history, the building where the new BBQ-joint will reside, was once home to the Mayfield Service Station and according to local legend, was a spot known for quite a bit of world-class domino slappin’.
